Bertha Leona Reddick, daughter of Frank G. and Nettie M. Reddick was born at Wapello, Iowa, Nov. 24, 1901 and departed this life Nov. 11, 1905, near Letts, Iowa, aged 3 years, 11 months and 17 days. While an active, playful child, when well, she seemed to have a great love for Heavenly things, never eating without asking a blessing. During her last illness she asked for her Bible and told her papa "she was well now," as her last words. She was generous and affectionate. The funeral was at the M. E. church of Letts at 2 p. m. Monday, conducted by Rev. W. A. Longnecker, assisted by Rev. Childress of the U. B. church. The burial was at Letts.
