(Muscatine) Mrs. John Hartman, sister of Mrs. Maggie Davis of this place, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. L. McBride, in Muscatine, Tuesday morning, Nov. 14, 1905. She was born in Bavaria, Germany, 63 years ago, and came to this country when she was a young woman about 19 years of age, locating in Muscatine, where she was united in marriage to John Hartman about forty years ago. Nine children were born to them, six surviving with her aged husband. The funeral will be held at 9 o'clock Friday morning at St. Mary's church, of which she was a faithful member, conducted by Rev. J. I. Griser. The burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery.
