CENTER JUNCTION - Frank Harris Norris, Center Junction, died Sunday, May 8, following a lingering illness.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 11, at 1:30 p.m., at the Wallace Funeral home, Wyoming. Rev. LaVerne Kiel, Dubuque, officiated. Burial was in the North Madison cemetery, Center Junction.

Pallbearers included Sam Thompson, Harry James, Carl Seehusen, Herman Peterson, Arthur Lincoln and Robert Mead.

Junior Hicks, Maquoketa, was soloist. Mrs. Marion Orris was organist.

He was born Sept. 10, 1887, son of Thomas Filmore Norris and Georgianna Norris, in Scotch Grove township. He was married to Lillian May Urban, Feb. 21, 1917, at Anamosa. Two sons were born to this union. He had spent his entire life on a farm in Madison township.

Survivors include his wife, Lillian; two sons, Glenn Norris and Lewis Norris, all of Center Junction; one sister, Belle Norris, Center Junction; one nephew Russell Norris, Edmunds, Wash.; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.
