Mrs. Dacie (Iola) Binley, 58, died early Wednesday, Sept. 1 at Anamosa Community hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 3 at Goettsch Funeral home, with burial in Riverside cemetery.

September 9, 1971 - The Anamosa Eureka

Mrs. Dacie Binley, 58, passed away at the Anamosa Community hospital early Wednesday, Sept. 1, 1971, after an illness of several weeks.

Born Iola C. Grimm April 30, 1913 at Anamosa, she was the daughter of Jacob and Nellie Kidwell Grimm. She attended the Anamosa schools and on Aug. 5, 1930 she was married to Dacie Binley; they made their home in Anamosa. Mr. Binley preceded her in death Oct. 17, 1969.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Leonard (Naomi) Haas and Patricia Binley, both of Anamosa. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren and a brother, John Grimm, Anamosa.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a brother and a sister.

Funeral services were held at Goettsch Funeral home Friday, Sept. 3 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Brown Garlock officiating. Interment was in Riverside cemetery.

Casket bearers were Michael Haas, Ed Heady, Jack Scanlon, Junior Binley, Harold Marling and Alvin Haas.
