May 20, 1971 - The Anamosa Eureka

Services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 19, 1971 at St. Paul Lutheran church for Mrs. Floyd McGuire. Mrs. McGuire 72, died Monday, May 17 following a brief illness. The Rev. Walter A. Behrens officiated at the services, and burial was at Riverside cemetery.

Dora B. Belling was born December 12, 1898, in Germany, the daughter of Gustav A. and Marie Wolfe Belling. She was married September 17, 1940, to Floyd McGuire in Anamosa. The couple farmed near Anamosa until they moved to town in 1959. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran church.

Surviving is a brother, Emil Belling, Anamosa. She was preceded in death by her husband in September, 1965; her parents and ten brothers and sisters.

Pallbearers were Russell Rickels, Virgil Rickels, Rex Rickels, Roger Rickels, David Rickels and Merle Rickels.
