Chidester departed last night for their homes at Oenid (sic - Oneida), Ill., after accompanying the remains of Ruth Elaine HUDGEL here for burial. Ruth Elaine HUDGEL

Ruth Elaine HUDGEL, the infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde HUDGEL of Oneida, Ill., former Jefferson county residents, died early Wednesday at 2 o'clock and funeral services were held yesterday morning at 9 o'clock at their home in charge of Rev. Lindberg of the Presbyterian church. The body was then brought to Fairfield for burial in Evergreen cemetery.

Ruth Elaine was born Oct. 10 and she had been frail since birth. She is survived by her parents and a sister Kathleen and a brother Billy Bruce, also her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William D. HUDGEL, of 5 miles northwest of Fairfield.

Those accompanying the body here were: Mr. and Mrs. Clyde HUDGEL and two children, Mr. and Mrs. G. G. Chidester, Rev. Lindberg, Mrs. Dell Johnson and Cliff Steward all of Oneida, Mr. and Mrs. Frank BAKER of Chicago and Mrs. William D. HUDGEL and daughter Clara, of Fairfield, who had been at their home.

... --Mr. and Mrs. Clyde HUDGEL and two children and Mrs. G. G. Chidester left today for their homes in Oneida, Ill., after accompanying the remains of little Ruth Elaine HUDGEL here for burial. They visited at the William D. HUDGEL home while here. Miss Clara HUDGEL accompanied the mhome (sic), where she will remain some time.
