FUNERAL OF MISS HUDGELL. (sic)

The last funeral rites over the remains of Miss Mary Ruth HUDGELL occured this morning at Evergreen cemetery.

Brief services were held at the home five miles northwest of the city, conducted by Rev. W. B. Ireland, pastor of Moyer Chapel. A mixed quartette from the Chapel sang two hymns and Mrs. John Ross sang a solo which touched the hearts of the larg number present.

After the services at the home the funeral procession proceeded to Evergreen cemetery and were met by the class of 1913 of the Fairfield High school who scattered sprigs of evergreen in the open grave. The graduating class of which Miss HUDGELL was a member did all possible to show their esteem for the absent one and sent a beautiful floral offering made up of white tea roses, the class flower, and white lilies. The class as a whole and the many friends extend their heart-felt sympathy to the bereaved family.
