Word was received Thursday by relatives stating the death of Edwin Heide at Rhame, N. D. Remains will be shipped to Cresco for burial.

OBITUARY.
Heide.
Edwin Heide was born in Christiana Norway, Feb. 3, 1867. At the age of three months he came to this country and settled down with his parents near Decorah. On May 14, 1885, he was confirmed in what is known as the Lincoln church south of Ridgeway.
On November 22, 1898 he was united in marriage to Alberta Vagts at Davis Corners. To this union four children were born. Oscar age 20, Hilda 18, Gertrude 12, Clarence 2½ years. In 1910 they moved to Rhame N. Dak. At which place he passed away.
About two years and a half ago he began to fail in health and all that medical skill and loving hands could do was done, but it was of no avail. He passed away very peacefully Thursday morning at 9:30 Sept. 25.
He leaves to mourn his death his wife four children his father and mother one brother and two sisters besides a host of relatives.
The body was laid to rest in New evening{sic} and was taken to the home of Martin Vagts where a short service was held Monday afternoon also at the Emmanuel Lutheran church, Rev. Pless officiating.
The body was laid to rest ni{sic} New Oregon cemetery.
