OBITUARY.
Deep sorrow was cast ovar{sic} the Spillville community when the news came on Tuesday evening that Anton Huber had passed to his final rest. No care and attention that willing and loving hearts could give were left undone, but the Angel of Death decreed otherwise and the final summons came Tuesday evening, Sept. 16th, 1919, at St. Joseph’s Mercy hospital in Cresco. He was born and raised about three miles west of Spillville, where he grew into manhood and was an honored and respected man and he will always remain a most pleasant memory to all who enjoyed his acquaintance. He leaves to mourn his loving wife, and five children, as follows: Mrs. Julia Bouska, and Mrs. Pauline Fencl, both of Protivin, Edward of Calmar, Joseph of Charles City, and Frances at home. The family loses an affectionate and kind hearted husband and father, a loss which cannot be replaced in this world. The funeral took place Friday morning, Sept. 19th, 1919, at Holy Trinity Catholic church at Protivin, and interment was made at the adjoining cemetery. Father Lakomy performed the obsequies. The funeral was largely attended.
