Isaac McGonigle.

Isaac McGonigle was born in Pennsylvania October 31, 1838, and died at his home near Jewell at three o'clock Wednesday morning, April 15, 1908. Mr. McGonigle was taken sick of pleurisy caused by exposure, and a complication of Pneumonia set in resulting in his death.

Deceased moved in boyhood with his parents to Illinois, and later of the age of fifteen years to Hamilton county, Iowa, locating at Webster City. Afterwards he moved to Montana and about twelve years ago returned to Hamilton county. On December 10, 1896, shortly after returning to this county, he was married to Miss Ella Hartman, and since then resided near Jewell where he lived at the time of his demise. He leaves a wife and six young children to mourn his death, also a mother, sister and brother.

The funeral services will be conducted at two o'clock this afternoon from the Christian church and will be conducted by Rev. W. C. Cole. Mr. McGonigle was highly respected as an honest and industrious man, a loving husband and father, a good neighbor, and a man highly regarded by all who knew him. He was a member of the Yeoman lodge, and this order have arranged a beautiful floral tribute to his memory for the funeral services this afternoon. The mother, Mrs. A. McGonigle, and a sister, Mrs. Perry, both of Highview, and the brother, A. McGonigle, of Boone, all arrived Tuesday afternoon and were at his bedside when death came. The Record joins in extending heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved ones in their affliction.
