O. H. Alvestad Passes Away.

After months of suffering from a tubercular infection, O. H. Alvestad passed away Sunday, April 28, at the age of 37 years, 3 months and 14 days. The funeral services were conducted from the home in Jewell at ten o'clock Monday forenoon, and from the Rose Grove church at one o'clock, and the remains were laid to rest in the Rose Grove cemetery. Rev. Eastvold conducted the services. For about tow and a half years Mr. Alvestad fought against the terrors of disease and early last fall he went to California in hopes of relief. The change not proving beneficial as was hoped, he returned to Jewell the tenth of February, to finally pass away at the home in town where he and his mother resided.
