ALBERT OLSON, STANHOPE MAN, DIED FRIDAY

Funeral services were held Sunday at Our Savior's Lutheran church in Stanhope for Albert Olson, 74, who died Friday morning at Excelsior Springs, Mo., where he had gone a week ago for treatment. Rev. Odean Monson officiated in the service and burial was made in Lake Center cemetery.

Albert Olson was born on a farm in Ytre, Sogn, Norway, in January, 1869, son of Ole I. and Ingeborg Asheim Olson. He came to the United States in 1886 and had lived most of the time since then in or near Stanhope.

A few years he made his home in Wisconsin and for several years in California. He was engaged in farming and tiling, but retired a number of years ago because of failing health. He made his home with Albert Iverson at Stanhope.
