BELLE HANSON DIED AT STANHOPE
Miss Belle Hanson, 64, died Saturday morning at the home of Miss Dena Tynning in Stanhope, where she had lived the past year. She had been in poor health for several years, but had been seriously ill only two weeks.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at Stanhope Lutheran church, preceded by a brief service at the home of a niece, Mrs. G. M. Hanson. Rev. Odean Monson was in charge.
Miss Hanson was born June 19, 1876, on a farm southeast of Stanhope. Her father died when she was small, and she made her home with her mother and stepfather until their death a few years ago. The family moved from the farm into Stanhope 30 years ago.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers. She is survived by the following brothers: Iver J. of Stanhope, Gil of Webster City, Ole G. of Cedar Rapids. There are several nieces and nephews.
