Theresa Kay Draeger, 63, of Webster City, died at her home on Tuesday, October 15, 2019. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, on Sunday, October 20th, at Boman Funeral Home (www.bomanfh.com) in Webster City. Private family burial will be at a later date.
Theresa was born on May 10, 1956, in California to Gerald and Alveda (Widick) Kent. She graduated from the Webster City High School in 1974, and then attended the AIB College of Business in Des Moines. Theresa married Albert Draeger on July 1, 1983, in Webster City.
Theresa owned the Mustard Seed Christian bookstore and Café. She also had a seamstress business, Pins & Needles for many years, retiring in 2019.
Theresa loved camping. She also loved reading and teaching the Bible. Her faith was evident in the way she witnessed about God’s love for people.
Theresa’s family includes: Albert, her husband of 36 years; her parents Gerald & Alveda Kent of Stanhope; daughter Dana Edwards, of Webster City and her children: Haakon, KeVon, and Avilahn; as well as several step children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and two sisters: Deborah Haren-Caruth and Rebecah Thompson.
