MRS. CHAS. KNUDSON DIED AT ELLSWORTH
Funeral Services for Ellsworth Resident Was Held Monday
Mrs. Charles Knudson sr., 78, died Friday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. R. L. Ryberg of Ellsworth, death being caused by a paralytic stroke.
Funeral services were held at Mrs. Knudson's home Monday and at the Ellsworth Lutheran church, with Rev. C. J. Naglestad officiating. Burial was made in Homewood cemetery.
Mrs. Knudson was born in Norway, and came to the United States when she was three years old locating in Ellsworth, where she had since lived. She was the mother of 16 children, eight of whom preceded her in death. She is survived by the following children: Mrs. Ryberg, Charles Knudson jr., and Tedus Knudson of Ellsworth; Mrs. John Peterson of Randall; Harvey and Reuben Knudson of Armstrong; Mrs. John Ohman of Sioux City, and Mrs. G. Lenning of Cedar Rapids.
Mrs. Knudson also reared a granddaughter, Mrs. Julia Satre of Stanhope, who, with other grandchildren and great grandchildren, also survives.
She leaves two brothers, L. E. Williams of Ellsworth, and Will Williams of Minneapolis, and a sister, Mrs. Geo. Bergeson of Estherville.
