Thursday, July 10, 1980Miss Diane Kay Veach, 24, of Mission, Kan., a former Webster City resident died suddenly Tuesday at her home in Mission.
Following cremation, memorial services at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the First Congregational, UCC Church in Webster City with the Rev. Alva Hohl officiating and with burial in Graceland cemetery.
Foster's Funeral home will have charge of arrangements. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the American Diabetes association.
Diane Kay Veach, daughter of Robert L. and Virginia Veach, was born Dec. 13, 1955 in Webster City. She was reared and educated here, graduating with the class of 1974.
She attended the University of Iowa in Iowa City, graduating there in 1978. Following her graduation, she attended the Para-Legal Institution in Philadelphia, Pa., after which she was employed by the Schneider, Schaumberg and May law firm at Shawnee Mission, Kan.
She is survived by her parents, two sisters, Mrs. Joe (Linda) Pieper, of Weaver, Iowa and Mrs. Robert (Lisa) Dahlberg of Iowa City; the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Milo Blahnik of Cedar Rapids, and the paternal grandmother, Mrs. Ethel Veach of Belleview, Iowa.
She was a member of the First Congregational, UCC church in Webster City and the PEO Sisterhood.
