Plane Wreckage Found; All Three Men Killed

Plair Rites To Be Held Monday

Funeral services for Robert L. Plair, 32, one of three victims of a light plane tragedy in northeastern Iowa, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Foster Funeral home with the Rev. S. Willard Cunningham officiating. Burial will be in the North Lawn cemetery at Fort Dodge.

Robert Lee Plair, son of Mrs. Mary Kramer, was born Jan. 2, 1935 at Chicago, Ill. When he was a small boy, he moved with his mother to Fort Dodge, where he was reared and educated.

He was united in marriage April 24, 1954 to Judith Orr, and the couple resided in Fort Dodge where Mr. Plair was employed by the Hormel Packing Co. He later moved in 1960 to the Humboldt-Livermore area where he was still associated with the Hormel company.

They moved to Webster City Jan. 1, 1963 and Mr. and Mrs. Plair owned and operated the Hillcrest Nursing home. The couple also operated nursing homes in Des Moines and Vinton, Iowa.

Mr. Plair is survived by his wife; three daughters and one son, Laurie, 11, Becky, 10, Bobby, 7 and Amy, 14 months; his mother, Mrs. Mary Kramer, Fort Dodge and his grandfather, Julius Suhajda of Fort Dodge.

He was a member of the Elks lodge of Fort Dodge and also was a member of the Methodist church.
