EMERY ANDERSON DIED IN WEBSTER CITY, FEB. 9
Emery E. Anderson, a former resident of Radcliffe, and for a long time a resident of Ellsworth, passed away at his home in Webster City, 616 Dubuque street, on Friday, Feb. 9, 1940. Death resulted from complications which developed from a fall. He was born near Ellsworth, but attended the Webster City schools from which he graduated.
At the age of 83 years, he leaves his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Harley Bennett of Webster City, and a son, Clime Anderson of Verona, Ore. There are five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Mr. and Mrs. Anderson moved to Webster City from near Ellsworth, Sept. 1, 1939. His parents were Mr. and Mrs. Ole Anderson, pioneer residents of the Ellsworth community. In 1883 he was married to Harriet Moore. She preceded him in death 35 years ago. On Oct. 19, 1911, in Terry, Mont., he was married to Mrs. Fannie Christian. They made their home in and near Ellsworth as Mr. Anderson was engaged in the hardware business and later in farming.
