OBITUARY

ANNAS SWENSON

Annas Swenson, son of Sven and Carrie Swenson (Bratteland), was born on his parent's homestead three miles southwest of Randall, Sept. 26, 1895, and died at his home four miles west of Randall June 26, 1937, at the age of 41 years.

He was baptized and confirmed in the church at Randall, to which church the family belong. Annas spent all his life in the vicinity where he was born. He had a quiet and gentle disposition and minded his own affairs and let others alone.

June 6, 1927, he was united in marriage to Ruby Wike. To this union were born three children, Audrey, Melbourne and Doris. His father, two brothers and a sister have preceded him in death.

He leaves to mourn his early departure, besides his wife and three children; his aged mother and five brothers and four sisters: Edward of Brainard, Minn.; Elmer of Des Moines; Hartwick of Huxley; Bennie and Jonas of Story City; Mrs. Martha Hendrickson of Frost, Minn.; Mrs. Lena Christianson of Des Moines; Mrs. Selma Wolkenhauer and Mrs. Stella Risvold of Story City.

Funeral services were held at Randall June 28, 1937, where Rev. G. O. Paulsrud officiated. $5.00 were given to missions in his memory. Interment was made at the Mt. Olive cemetery at Randall.
