Huxley Woman Died Suddenly; Funeral on Wednesday

Huxley, March 29--Mrs. Bertha Williams, 55, died very suddenly at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Jerome Hill here, Sunday morning at 4 o'clock. She had suffered a stroke of apoplexy several months ago, but had been makin splendid recovery Saturday night.She was born on a farm near Story City and had lived in the vicinity of that place and Randall until about eight years ago. Since that time she had lived in or near Huxley.
Her husband had died about 16 years ago, but she is survived by five children, they being Earnest Williams of Story City, Mrs. Sylvia Tweed of Randall, Mrs. Orella Hill, Walter Williams and Luther, all of Huxley.
She also leaves seven grandchildren, two sisters and six brothers. The sisters are Mrs. Lurena Kalvig of Chicago and Mrs. Oscar Larson of Ellsworth. The brothers are George Charlson of Cylinder, Bert Charlson of Thor, Charles Charlson of Arizona; Lewis, Austin and Erick Charlson, all of Story City.
The funeral rites will be held Wednesday, March 31, with services at the Lincoln Lutheran church in Huxley at 11 a.m. with Rev. Peder Buland in charge. At 2:00 p.m. there will be services at the Elim Lutheran church at Randall with Rev. G. O. Paulsrud in charge.
Interment will be in the Randall cemetery.
