Julie Eggers, 16, of Webster City died Saturday, Aug. 23, 1997 in a car accident near Webster City. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Webster City, with Rev. John J. Walsh officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. A Scripture service is scheduled for 7 p.m. Tuesday at Foster Funeral home. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and at the church prior to Mass.

Julie Marie Eggers, the daughter of Delbert and Patty (Violette) Eggers, was born Aug. 14, 1981 at Ames. She would have been a junior at Webster City High School this fall.

She is survived by: her parents, Delbert Eggers and Patty Rodenborn; one sister, Sara Eggers; one brother, John Eggers; and family friend, Rita Nilles, all of Webster City; grandparents, Leslie and Ayleen Eggers, Webster City and Ray and Therese Violette, East Templeton, Ma.; great grandparents, John and Ruth Violette of Patten Me.

Miss Eggers was a member St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, St. Thomas youth group, Stepping Stones and the Cass Red Cardinals 4-H Club. In school, she was active in tennis and drama.

Memorials may be made to the Julie Eggers Memorial Scholarship Fund.
