Kenneth Robinson, age 59, of Ellsworth, died Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.
Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 9, 2012 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Ellsworth, Iowa. Burial will follow at Homewood Cemetery in Ellsworth. Visitation is Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall. A memorial fund has been established, gifts may be sent to P. O. Box 28 in Ellsworth, IA 50075. Becker Funeral and Cremation Service of Jewell is caring for Kenneth and his family.
Kenneth Wayne Robinson was born August 17, 1952 in Ames, Iowa to Wayne and Norma (Hutchins) Robinson. Kenny grew up in Ames, graduating from Ames High School in 1970. On April 1, 1971 Kenny married Rozella Johnson in Ames.
He worked in the family Plastering Business with his father and brother, Mike. He was a Scout Leader for many years. He loved to spend time with his family.
Kenny is survived by his wife, Rozella of Ellsworth; sons, Josh Robinson of Illinois, Nathan Robinson of Ellsworth; daughter, Jenny Robinson of Ellsworth; brothers, Chuck of Kansas City and Mike of Huxley; and sister, Linda Adams of Cambridge.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
