Obituary

ANNA RYBERG

Anna Ryberg, 98, died Saturday, March 19, 1977 at Bethany Manor, Story City, Iowa. She had been a resident there since 1961.

Anna was born December 12, 1878 near Ellsworth, Iowa to parents, Charles and Julia Knudson.

She was married to Richard L. Ryberg in 1917. He died in 1952.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, March 22 at 1:30 p.m. from Bethany Manor Chapel. Chaplain Enoch Hall was in charge assisted by the Rev. Harvey Sigurdson, Trinity Lutheran Church, Ellsworth. Louise Olson was organist. Burial was at Homewood Cemetery, Ellsworth.

She is survived by one son, Richard, Independence, Iowa; one brother Reuben Knudson of Britt, Iowa; three sisters, Mrs. Elsie Peterson and Mrs. Rebecca Ohman, both of Randall, Iowa and Mrs. Olea Lenning of Richmond, California.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, one daughter, two sisters, five brothers.

The casket bearers were David Fremming, James Peterson, John Peterson, Paul Warren, Richard Teigland and Ray Nielsen.
