Dorothy Jean Rinker, 82, died June 29, 2004 at Stratford Nursing Center. She was the widow of Robert William Rinker who died on Feb. 20, 1978. A graveside service will be held at Linwood Park Cemetery, 609 4th Ave., Boone, on Saturday at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her name charity of the donor's choice.

Dorothy Jean Fisher was born Aug. 3, 1921, and was the last surviving child of Robert Fisher and Caroline Holt Monson Fisher. She was a lifelong Stanhope resident and is survived by her half-sister, Gertrude Parrish, and numerous nieces and nephews.
