Barnet and Isaac N. Neal in Des Moines county 1859-1860's

Am researching my ancestor Barnet Neal (b. 1821 in Greene PA, m. Caroline Ensley ca1838 in Fayette PA, lived in Monroe OH 1840-1859, in Danville, Des Moines co. IA 1859-ca 1861, in Poweshiek co. ca1861-1867, in Butler co. IA 1867-death in 1901.) Both Barnet and Isaac N. appear in Danville township in the 1860 census. Barnet served in the 4th Iowa Cavalry from 1864-1865, residence at time of enlistment was Poweshiek; his brother Isaac Newton Neal also enlisted from Poweshiek, died in 1863 at Opelousas LA; Barnet's son Thomas was wounded in 1863 battle, leg amputated. All of Barnet's family remained in Butler co. IA; Isaac's widow (Thirza Ellen Colledge) and children returned to Monroe OH.
