Herbert A. Huttner, age 83 of the Leisuretowne section of Southampton passed away on Wednesday June 16 2004 at Virtua Memorial Hospital Mt. Hlly after a long bout with cancer.

Age 83 of the Leisuretowne section of Southampton passed away on Wednesday June 16 2004 at Virtua Memorial Hospital Mt. Hlly after a long bout with cancer.

Born in NY Herb served in the Army Air Corp during WWII. After military service he worked for the NY board of transportation for several years before working in an executive capacity for a major national distributor of books and periodicals throughout the US and Canada he also traveled extensively representing major publishers. Retiring in 1984 after 30 years he moved from North Jersey to Leisuretowne in 1988. Herb and Betty traveled a great deal during retirement.

Son of the late Willy and Bertha Huttner; brother of the late William he is survived by wife Betty after 62 years of marriage a son Richard of Warwick NY; a sister Ilse of Wyckoff NJ; 3 grandchildren Arlene Emil and Willy: and 2 great granddaughters Michelle and Lauren.

Relatives and friends may call on Sunday June 20 2004 from 4-7 PM at the Mathis Funeral Home 58 N. Main St. Medford (609)654-2439.

Family and friends will gather at the funeral home on Monday June 21 2004 at 10 AM and process to George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus for the interment.
