Betty K. Huttner, who was born on December 16, 1922 in New York City, NY, passed away on November 6, 2011 in Waukee, IA. Visitation will be held, Tuesday (Today) from 9 to 10 a.m. followed by a Prayer Service at 10 a.m., both at Ernst Funeral Home, Waukee. Interment will be held at the George Washington Memorial Park in New Jersey.

After high school, Betty attended business school. She was a baker and enjoyed her time working at Woolworth's Food Counter. She enjoyed cooking, cleaning and crafts.

Betty is survived by: son Richard (Phoebe) Huttner of NY; granddaughters Arlene (Jim) Gilliard of Waukee, IA and Willy (Bill) Dammers of NY; grandson Emi Huttner of NY, great-granddaughters Michelle (Justin) Boyd and Lauren Gilliard both of Waukee and Makala Dammers of NY and great-great-granddaughters Stephanie, Katelyn and Danielle Boyd of NY. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Herbert and parents Emil and Anna Scensny. ~ The Des Moines (IA) Register 08 Nov 2011.
