David Danielson 1901 - 1968

David Danielson was born on March 9, 1901, the oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Danielson, in Ida County, Hayes Township.

He was baptized in infancy and was confirmed in Bethel Lutheran Church at Kiron, Iowa in the Swedish language 1916.

He was married to Mary Hardebeck February 11, 1925. After their marriage they made their home in Galva, Schaller, and Aurelia and his occupation was farming.

He retired in 1958 due to ill health and moved to Schaller in 1943. A two year old daughter passed away in 1929.

Three brothers and his father preceded him in death.

David passed away Sunday afternoon July 21st, 1968 at the age of 67 years, 4 months and 12 days.
He leaves to mourn his wife, Mary, his mother Hannah Danielson of Kiron, Iowa, one brother, Floyd Danielson of Arthur, two sisters (Golden) Mrs. William Nelson Jr. and (Sylvia) Mrs. Seldon Buller of Kiron besides many other relatives and friends.

Services were held from the St. Paul Lutheran Church Wednesday morning at 10a.m., July 24, 1968, Rev. William Timm officiating. Favorite hymns were sung by Miss Wanita Hansen, accompanied by Mrs. Mabel Alderson. Mrs. Carl Boisen and Miss Nellie Olsen cared for the many floral arrangements.
Attendants were : Clifford Lichtenberg, Roy E. Johnson, Jr., Merrill Lindstrom, Eldred Skarin, Louis Gertsmeier and Nils Lind.

Burial was made in the Galva Lutheran Cemetery, Galva, Iowa. Farber and Otteman Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
