ELMER DANIELSON PASSED AWAY SAT.

Elmer Danielson passed peacefully away at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Danielson, Sr. Saturday morning at 2:00 o'clock, following a lingering illness of more than eight months. Towards the last he suffered intensely, although everything possible was administered to relieve him of his sufferings. His devoted wife and near ones did everything that loving hands can do. He submitted to a number of operations and throughout it all he suffered patiently in hope of receiving help. The end came as a relief from the intense pains.

Elmer Nels Danielson was born to Alfred and Hannah Danielson Sept. 2, 1904 on the Danielson homestead one mile north and two miles east of Kiron. Here he grew to young manhood and after completing his education in the public schools he assisted his father with farming.

On Sept. 17, 1928 he was united in marriage to Miss Ima Brentha Nordell. This union was blest with one child, a son, Warren, now four years of age. After their marriage they farmed the home place for a year and for four years he conducted an ice business in Kiron and locality. At the time of his death this business was still carried on in his name. In this business he was always prompt and gave the very best service. He was congenial and of a pleasant personality and made many warm friends with all whom he come in contact with. They resided in Kiron for two years and of late made their home with his grandfather I. Lind. The last five months he was cared for at his parental home.

He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. He was a good workman, very ambitious, even after his health began to fail him. He was a most tender and loving husband, father, and son. The deepest sympathy goes out to the grief stricken wife and son and his parents and brothers and sisters. He was of a kind and gentle disposition which endeared his family and friends to him.
He leaves to mourn his untimely death his loving wife Ima Brentha and their son Warren, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Danielson Sr., two brothers, David of Aurelia, and Floyd at home, two sisters, Golden, Sylvia at home, an aged grandfather Ingamar Lind, a large number of other relatives and a host of friends. Two infant brothers preceded him in death. He had attained the age of 29 years, 9 months, and 14 days.
Funeral services were held on Monday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock from the Bethel Lutheran church conducted by the pastor Rev. Erland Borg. The many beautiful floral offerings banked about the casket, in their silence spoke of the high esteem for the departed brother. The church was overflowing with relatives and friends who came to pay their last respects. Two hymns were beautifully sung by a mixed quartette composed of Mrs. Mildred Baker, Mrs. E. AN. Sandstrom, C. R. Lundell and David Johnson with Mrs. Borg at the piano.

He was borne to his last resting place by Ernest and Vernal Gustafson, Edmund and Harold Lundell and Enoch and Leonard Lundblad. Interment was made in Bethel cemetery. Peace be to his memory.

Relatives attending the funeral from a distance were, Mr. and Mrs. David Danielson of Aurelia, Mr. and Mrs. F. Nordell of Omaha, Mr. and Mrs. John Carlson of Storm Lake. Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Lindstrom and Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Lindstrom of Odebolt, Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Lind of Denison and Mr. and Mrs. Emil Danielson of Schaller and Mr. and Mrs. Mearl Graham of Deloit.
