Funeral services for Goldie M. Palm, 87, of Arthur were at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Arthur United Methodist Church. She died Sunday 5 march 1995 at the Morningside Care Center in Ida Grove. Rev. W. Michael Biklen officiated with burial in the Hayes Township Cemetery south of Arthur. The Christensen-Ciha Funeral Home of Ida Grove was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Palm was born 6 May 1907 in Elgin, Nebraska, the daughter of James and Cora (Amick) Couch. She married Arthur T. Palm 23 February 1934 in LeMars. The couple farmed south of Arthur for many years. They retired in 1986 and moved into Arthur. He died 24 Feb 1987. Mrs. Palm was a member of the Arthur United Methodist Church and a former member of the Arthur Baptist Church.

Survivors include: one son, Kenneth palm of Ida Grove; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Dorothy Robertsen of Stockton, California, and Gladys Wohlert of Bronson. She was preceded in death by two brothers; two sisters; and one daughter-in-law, Beverly Palm.
