Pellworm, Schleswig to Clinton, IA

I have started a small research project and am looking for information on people that moved from the island of Pellworm in Schleswig, Germany, to Clinton, IA.

Why? As a context to my personal geneaology. On my grandfather's side of the family, the Henningsens, all of my ancestors came from Pellworm to Beaver Island and Clinton. AND - while researching my Norwegian ancestors from Clinton, I met a third cousin, who, when she sent me her gedcom file, it turned out also had ancestors from Pellworm who had married the Norwegians in Clinton!

I am wondering whether there were many immigrants from Pellworm to Clinton, so I am looking for some 'raw data'. Anyone willing to share their information will receive information on any connections I am able to make. Thanks for any and all help.
