I am researching the biography of Gilbert Temple, photographer of Mississippi River Steamboats in Clinton, Iowa from 1905-1910. My family possesses 21 glass negatives and 12 early film negatives of steamboats, houseboats an one locomotive. We have prints made of all of them. I would like to know more about the Photographer, Gilbert Temple to supplement our collection. It was documented in the Clinton Public Library that he was enamored by the "floating palaces" on the Mississippi River.
