I found the following obituary in an envelope of obituaries that belonged to my great-grandmother. Julius Muhl was my great-great grandmother's brother.
Mrs. Julius Muhl Dies
Mrs. Julius (Emma) Muhl, 90, died at 12:30p.m. Monday, Dec.24, 1962, at her home in Toronto.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec 27, in the Chapman funeral home in Wheatland with Rev. Joseph Newgard officiating. Burial was in Pine Hill cemetery.
Pallbearers were John Willey, Chris Wind, Robert Stoecker, John Sievers, Walter Horstmann and William Horstmann.
Emma Bruhn was born March 23, 1872, near Big Rock, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Bruhn. She married Julius Muhl Dec 22, 1892, and the couple farmed in the Toronto area until 1915 when they moved to their new home in Toronto, which they built and have lived in ever since.
Survivors include two sons, Jack of Wheatland and Herb of Lost Nation; three grandsons; and ten great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, one son in infancy, four sisters and one brother.
Mrs. Muhl was better known to her friends and neighbors as "Granny Muhl," and she will be missed by her many friends and neighbors, and mostly by the "younger ones."Hope this helps.
