It looks like Elof Kelly was the son of Frank P. Kelley/Kelly and Anna Berg. They divorced when he was about three years old and Anna remarried John Olsen in 1911 and had two more children. Anna is from Sweden and Frank P. Kelly from Indiana. Hope this helps.
This is a link to a copy of Elof's Death Certificate in Texas. It states that he was born on October 27, 1907 in Davenport, Iowa and his parents were Frank Kelly and Anna Berg.

Courtland C. Kelly, age 2, born in Iowa;They appear to have been counted twice as there are two enumeration listings for them both residing at 319 14th Ave. in Clinton. One enumeration was taken on April 20, 1910 and the other May 13, 1910. The other 1910 census lists Frank P. Kelley, age 29, born in Indiana and Anna C. Kelly, 28, born in Sweden, immigrated in 1903 and having been married 3 years and son Cortland Kelly, age 2; One census was taken by Frank L. Crofoot and the other by a different census taker Louie Rice.
In the 1920 Census in Clinton Ward 4, Clinton, Iowa; T625, Roll 484; Page: 5B; Enumeration District: 17, Courtland Kelly is living with his mother, Anna Olson, age 38, born in Sweden, immigrated in 1903; his stepfather, John Olson, 38, born in Denmark and their children, Florence Olson, age 5 and Alvin Olson, infant, both born in Iowa. In this record, Courtland's father is recorded as having been born in Indiana;

Olsen, age 43, was born in Sweden and her parents were Johannes Berg and Eliana Andersen Berg. It also states that she and John Olson were married in Rock Island, Illinois.
