It looks like Elof Kelly was the son of Frank P. Kelley/Kelly and Anna Berg. They divorced when he was about three years old and Anna remarried John Olsen in 1911 and had two more children. Anna is from Sweden and Frank P. Kelly from Indiana. Hope this helps.

This is a link to a copy of Elof's Death Certificate in Texas. It states that he was born on October 27, 1907 in Davenport, Iowa and his parents were Frank Kelly and Anna Berg.

The family is enumerated in the 1910 Census living in Clinton Ward 4, Clinton, Iowa; T624, Roll 398; Page: 28A; Enumeration District: 13;
Frank Kelly, 29, born in Iowa;
Anne Kelly, 29, born in Iowa; married 5 years;
Courtland C. Kelly, age 2, born in Iowa;

They appear to have been counted twice as there are two enumeration listings for them both residing at 319 14th Ave. in Clinton. One enumeration was taken on April 20, 1910 and the other May 13, 1910. The other 1910 census lists Frank P. Kelley, age 29, born in Indiana and Anna C. Kelly, 28, born in Sweden, immigrated in 1903 and having been married 3 years and son Cortland Kelly, age 2; One census was taken by Frank L. Crofoot and the other by a different census taker Louie Rice.

In the 1920 Census in Clinton Ward 4, Clinton, Iowa; T625, Roll 484; Page: 5B; Enumeration District: 17, Courtland Kelly is living with his mother, Anna Olson, age 38, born in Sweden, immigrated in 1903; his stepfather, John Olson, 38, born in Denmark and their children, Florence Olson, age 5 and Alvin Olson, infant, both born in Iowa. In this record, Courtland's father is recorded as having been born in Indiana;

Clinton County, Iowa Marriage Records:
Frank P. Kelley to Anna C. Berg
March 23, 1907 in Clinton, Clinton, Iowa

There is also an interesting marriage record in Clinton County, Iowa:
Frank P. Kelly, age 29, to Anna Seberg Kelly, age 28 born Sweden married on April 9, 1910 in Clinton. This looks as if they divorced and were remarried since her name is Kelly also. They eventually divorce the next year.

Florence married Lester Langrehr, Sr. and died in Maquoketa, Jackson, Iowa. She was born May 19, 1914 and died June 14, 1997.
Her obituary from the Cedar Rapids Gazette on June 17, 1997:

MAQUOKETA -- Florence D. Langrehr, 83, died Saturday, June 14, 1997, in Jackson County Public Hospital after a long illness. Services: 2 p.m. Wednesday, Carson & Son Funeral Home, Maquoketa, where friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today. Burial: Monmouth Cemetery, Monmouth. Survivors include four sons, Lester Jr. of Maquoketa, John of Davenport, Terry of Centreville, Va., and Dan of Walhalla, S.C.; three daughters, Marianna Stevens of Maquoketa, Sharon Keister of Monmouth and Zoe MacPherson of Rochester, Minn.; and a brother, Alvin Olsen of Clinton.

World War I Draft Registration:
John Olson, born November 5, 1881; wife Anna; address of 810 Summit in Clinton coincides with the family's address in the 1915 Iowa Census;

The 1925 Iowa State Census for Clinton states that Anna C. Olsen, age 43, was born in Sweden and her parents were Johannes Berg and Eliana Andersen Berg. It also states that she and John Olson were married in Rock Island, Illinois.

John Olsen to Anna Kelly on November 18, 1911.

Clinton County, Iowa Death Records:
Anna C. Olsen, born March 7, 1881 in Sweden died January 20, 1935 in Clinton, Iowa. She is buried in Springdale Cemetery in Clinton.
