STEWART, ROGERS, THOMPSON

George STEWART came to Clinton County about 1850 having lived a while in Penn. He came from Scotland in 1848, single. About 1859 he married Margaret ROGERS THOMPSON, they farmed in Elk River Township. They were the parents of five children. John, Thomas, Alexander and Anna, also an infant who lived just a few months.
George STEWART was one of the founding members of the church in Teeds Grove. This church was taken down and it's lumber used in the church in Anover, Iowa. The Teeds Grove Cemetery is the final resting place of George and Margaret.
Does anyone have any info on the Stewart's?
