WILLIAM MOEHR ANSWERS SUMMONSWilliam Mohr, aged 88 years, a resident of Center township since 1860, passed away this morning at 12:30 o'clock at the home of his daughter, Mrs. George Meyermann, residing four miles north of Lyons, with whom he had made his home the past year. He was born in Pommerania, Germany, February 11, 1832, and was married to Miss Caroline Wenzel, October 8, 1859. The following year they came to America and direct to this county, where they always resided, Mrs. Moehr passing away September 25, 1902. The survivors are six daughters, Mrs. William Schmidt of Ute, Mrs. William Meyermann of Stuttgart, Ark., Mrs. J.C. Timm of Charter Oak, Mrs. George Meyermann of Lyons, Mrs. E.S. Ahrens and Miss Mathilda Moehr of Estherville. Three sons, Carl, William and Herman Moehr of Lyons. Also 35 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Also one brother, John Moehr of Miles.
The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon with a short service at the George Meyermann home at 12:30 o'clock, followed by services at St. John's Lutheran church, at 1:30 o'clock. Rev. Hugo Grimm will officiate. Burial will be in the Ingwersen cemetery.
