Robert GRIEP, my husband's great grandfather came from Pommern(Pomerania) in about 1892. We understand he came with a church-sponsored group to America and are interested in finding out which group and/or which church. We have his funeral memorial card that indicates a minister from Zion Lutheran Church of Clinton officiated at the services in the funeral home. Can anyone on the list help us? Does a history of this church exist or does the church still exist and where could we write for information?
