Strange that there are 2 female "heads of household" on the 1860 but 5 y/o Hawkeye born Franklin Hower may indicate both families were there in 1856. If you get a 'given' for Catharine Foster's husand, might contact the Central Community Historical Society in De Witt. They have cemetery indexes for Clinton co. Dick
