Mornin' Renae, Well, that explains why I couldn't find him anywhere in 1860. But you still need to remember to include ages & nativities of the individuals named in your post Renae. People are not always enumeratd as, or living where we anticipate them to be. When this occurs, your volunteer often needs to have this required data to find them. This appears to be the case with your "Borg" In 1860 Bay twp, Ottawa co, Oh. the family is indexed as CHRISTIAN. ROY is 38, wife Caroline is 25, both Ger. Kidz in the h/h are Augusta 3 & Chas 2, both Oh. Also maybe a brother Martin Christian 32, Ger. In 1870 Caldwell co. Mo. "Borg" is enumerated as Roy also. I wasn't having much luck last night finding a Barney/var Christianson/var anywhere in Tx. but I'll check again with this new found data on your family. Dick
