Doeppke - Ahrens marriage - 1951

The marriage of Miss Arlene Ahrens, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Ahrens of Elkader, and Ivan Doeppke, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Doeppke of Elkader, was solemnized Thursday, July 12, at the Peace Evangelical and Reformed church. The Rev. Paul Kitterer officiated. Miss Ivadean Ahrens served her sister as maid of honor, and Paul Doeppke, brother of the groom, was best man.

Mrs. Doeppke is a graduate of Elkader high school.

The new couple will make their home in Elkader.
