Miss Darlene Moyle, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Moyle of Garnavillo, became the bride of Joseph Eugene Chappell, son of Mrs. Joe Chappell of Strawberry Point, June 17. The Rev. S. J. Meyer officiated in Emanuel Lutheran church in Strawberry Point. Miss Gertrude Trede of Clayton, (maid) of honor, and Miss Dixie Brewer Strawberry Point, was bridesmaid. Lyle Sargent, cousin of the bride and nephew of the groom, served as ring bearer and Mary Sargent, cousin of the bride and niece of the groom, was flower girl. Hartford Moyle, Waterloo, brother of the bride, was best man and Howard Harvey, Dike, Iowa, nephew of the groom, was his attendant. Ushers were Dale Harvey and Gene Moyle.

The bride is a graduate of Garnavillo high school and the groom is a graduate of Strawberry Point high school and the operator of the city dray line.
