Forbes - Bush marriage - 1951

Miss Joy Bush and Eugene Forbes were married Saturday in the Congregational Christian church with the Rev. Herbert Kelly officiating. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bush of Elkader and Mr. Forbes is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Forbes of Bridgeport, Wis. Miss Jennette Rolland was maid of honor and John Forbes, brother of the groom, was best man. Robert Bush of Iowa City, brother of the bride, and Curtis Forbes Jr. of Prairie du Chien, the groom's brother, served as ushers.

After a wedding trip to Minnesota and Wisconsin the couple will be at home at Prairie du Chien, Wis.
