STRAWBERRY POINT: Miss Dorothy White, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred E. White of Strawberry Point, became the bride of Merlin Frommelt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Frommelt of Elkader, May 01. The Rev. Father James Cassidy officiated at St. Mary's Catholic church here. Mrs. Loren Frommelt, Elkader, sister-in-law of the groom, served as matron of honor, and Duane Frommelt, Guttenberg, cousin of the groom, was best man. Ushers were Don Courtnage Jr. of Strawberry Point and Jim Miehe of Elkader.
The bride is a graduate of Strawberry Point high school and has been employed in Tegen's store here, and the groom is a graduate of Elkader high school and has been working in the Courtnage appliance store in Strawberry Point, where the couple will be at home after May 01.
