The Peace Evangelical and Reformed church was the setting when Miss Lenora Mae Possehl, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph C. Possehl of Elkader, became the bride of Merlin L. Anderson, St. Olaf, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mervin L. Anderson of Elgin. The Rev. Paul Kitterer officiated. Miss Bonnie J. Entwistle, friend of the bride, was maid of honor, and Burdette Anderson, brother of the groom, was best man. Ushers were Elaine Anderson, sister of the groom and Bruce Possehl, brother of the bride.
The bride is employed by the Northwestern Bell Telephone Co. and Mr. Anderson is employed on Rockcrest Farms, north of Elkader.
The new couple will make their home in Elkader in the apartment in the Mr. and Mrs. Chris Meyer home.
