Schnepf - Berns marriage - 1951

Miss Teresa Berns, daughter of Mrs. Anna Berns of Garnavillo, became the bride of Magnus Schnepf of Le Mars, Jan. 30, 1951, at St. Joseph's church. The Rev. Father Louis Ickel officiated. Mrs. James McTaggart, a sister of the bride, was maid of honor. James McTaggart served as best man and ushers were Sylvester Ruden and Lambert Hoeger. Following the ceremony a wedding breakfast was served for the wedding party at the bride's sister's house, Mrs. Herb Koopman.

The bride is a graduate of Immaculate Conception academy of Dubuque, and the groom a graduate of St. Mary's high school at Remsen. After a three week's honeymoon to the southern states, the new couple will make their home at Remsen.
