The peace Evangelical and Reformed Church in Elkader was the setting, Dec. 05, when Miss Marilyn Freitag became the bride of Charles Andrews of Cedar Rapids, with the Rev. Paul Kitterer officiating. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Glendor Freitag of Elkader, and the groom is the son of Mrs. Arthur Andrews of Keokuk. The bride was attended by her sister, Mrs. Carl Schmidt of Farmersburg, and the groom was attended by the bride's brother, Ivan Freitag. The bride's grandmother, Mrs. Albert Breitsprecher, was present at the wedding.
The new home for the newly married couple will be made in Cedar Rapids where both a now employed, Mrs. Andrews at Collins Radio Co. and Mr. Andrews at the M. Cash Gless Co. They have purchased a home at 243 Maiden Ave. and will be home there after Dec. 15.
