Bente - Doeppke marriage - 1941

Miss Florence Doeppke, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Doeppke, became the bride of Glenn Bente, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bente, Saturday, Dec. 06th, at the Zion's Lutheran church in Clayton Center. The Rev. D. A. Flesner officiated. Miss Ellen Doeppke, a sister of the bride, and Miss Eunice Duwe were bridesmaids, and Lloyd Bente, a brother of the groom, and Gerald Doeppke, a brother of the bride, were the groom's attendants.

The new couple will go to housekeeping on the Fred Bente farm in Read township
