Schulte - Lenth marriage - 1941

Miss Evelyn Lenth, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arno Lenth of Garnavillo, and Lester Schulte, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Schulte, were united in marriage, Saturday, in St. Peter's church at Garnavillo by the Rev. Mr. Staade. Miss Ilene Schulte, a sister of the groom, was bridesmaid, and Arnold Lenth, a brother of the bride, attended the groom.

The bride is a graduate of the Garnavillo public school and attended Wartburg college at Waverly. For the past year she has been employed in civil service work at Washington, D.C. The groom is a graduate of the Elkader public school and attended the local junior college. He is an employee at the post office here and also at the Donlon Chevrolet garage.

The new couple will be at home in the Mrs. Harry Schulte apartment.
