Charles W. Hall, who was a resident of Nashua for a number of years, passed away at Raymond, S. S., Wednesday, March 6.
Mr. Hall had not been in good health for some time, but on the Monday previous to his death he was up and around the house.
Charles W. Hall was born in South Pultney, N. Y., March 24, 1824. In 1850, when a young man he came to Wisconsin. In 1892 the family moved to Nashua where the mother died in 1899. About one year ago he went to Raymond, S. D., with his son, C. L. Hall, where he had since resided. Four children are left to mourn his death who are C. L. Hall, of Raymond, Mrs. Frank Townsend, of Waterloo, Iowa, B. F. Hall, of Little Falls, Minn., and L. B. Hall, of New York.
The deceased was a kind and loving husband and father and had many friends wherever he had lived.
The funeral was held at the home of Ed Clemens, at Raymond, at 1 p. m. Saturday and the burial was in the cemetery at that place.Source Unknown – probably local newspaper
