Ray Buddenhagen, 51, of Washington, Missouri and formerly of Aurelia, Iowa passed away Thursday, July 16, 1998, of injuries suffered in an automobile accident in Missouri.

Funeral services were held Monday, July 20, at the Nieburg-Vitt Funeral Home in Washington. Graveside services will be held today, July 21 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery in rural Aurelia with the Wharton-Redig Funeral Home, Aurelia, assisting with local arrangements.

Survivors include his wife, Jo Ann, Washington; two sons: Jason, Washington; and Brian, Los Lunas, New Mexico; his mother, Rosa Buddenhagen, Aurelia; a sister, Donna and her husband, Jim Hoefling, Marcus, Iowa; three brothers; Jim and his wife, Ruth, Humboldt, Iowa; Ronald, Cranbrook, British Columbia; and David and his wife, Chris, Springfield, Nebraska; his wife’s parents, Marjorie and Clarence Bleckman, Leslie, Mo.; brothers and sisters-in-law: William and Debbie Bleckman, Rolla, Mo.; Rebecca and Fred Hoch, Leslie; Beverly Bleckman; San Juan Capistrano, Calif; Carl and Cindy Bleckman, Leslie; Dale and Kimberly Bleckman, Rolla; Stephen Bleckman, Leslie; and Philip and Karen Bleckman, Leslie.
